Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club was established over 30 years ago when the harbour was just being developed.
Through those years the club expanded from a portacabin to where they are now, with 1000 members, a lovely building, a very good race fleet of various size boats, a BSAC dive club, a very active social calendar, bridge club and photographic club.
The racing is throughout the year on Sundays, with Wednesday evening racing through the summer months. The race fleet also prides itself on how many away regattas, cross channel races and the Round Isle of Wight races they attend over a year.
